Our Story

My mom started quilling after my brother passed away to get her mind off of things. She found it very relaxing and therapeutic. She liked it so much and got so good that she started teaching classes. At that time, she was living in a brand new, beachside condo in Mexico.. right up until I gave her some big news. She was going to be a grandma! She moved back home and that’s when I got to see how much she really loved quilling. I noticed she was cutting her own paper with a little paper shredder which was quite a bit of work and didn’t always cut right, not to mention it ripped up the edges which highly dulled the color. she explained that she cut her own paper because, although regular quilling paper was great quality, it was hard to store and manage in classes, I thought ‘there’s got to be a better way.’ So we started cutting paper with an industrial paper cutter and packaging it in a resealable bag with hanging holes. Many of her students and people online really liked this system and how she does her instructions so we decided to make it available to everyone. It’s definitely been a huge learning experience and I’m sure there is so much more to learn.
