Quilled Butterfly Template | Beginners (2hrs)

Instructions come as a 4 page PDF containing specific information about how each piece of this quilled butterfly was created and a link to a step by step video tutorial. This project is intended for beginners and should take approximately 2 hours to complete. The size of the final project is roughly 3x3 inches. Ideal for greeting cards, round acrylic ornaments, fridge magnets, and 4x4 inch frames. Kits come with printed instructions and you will also receive an email containing a link to download the digital instructions.

Materials used: Slotted tool, tweezers, glue bottle, circle template ruler, workboard, scissors, glue, and ruler.

Techniques: Rolling with a slotted tool (manual or electric), attaching 2 quilled shapes to make different shape, attaching strips end to end, wrapping multiple quilled shapes, scrolls and swirls.

All paper strips used for this project tutorial were 3mm Easy Quilling Paper strips by The Paper Smith Store.
